Ladies' Captain's Gala Charity Day – 14 July 2011

In additon to the golf and its 'putt for free' tape, there were other fund rasing events: a Bottle Draw (all donated), a Box Raffle for a wide range of goods and vouchers and a 'write you bid' auction for some lovely prizes (Dinner Party for 6 in your own home, 4X4ball golf vouchers, Seniors' Master tickets,  fantastic cakes, wine & champagne and more) : all contibuting to the sum raised. "Ab Fab!" to coin a phrase.

Thank you to all those who helped make this a great day: the players, those who gave donations, the starters (David, Ivan and Jack), helpers on the day (Gladys, Gael, Barbara, Hazel, Pam & Sue), manning the Hut (Fred & Cheryl Humphries), scorers (David, Will & Hazel), flowers (Sine), the Ladies who made all the cakes and not forgetting Keith & staff behind the bar and Sue, Chris & staff for a great buffet and finally to Lesley Riggall for getting  so many donations from the retailers of Panbourne and district!
